Well, it's been a long time. But, this is partly due to the fact that the Lord has blessed us with an abundance of projects involving ministry and the family economy. Here is a snapshot of what we've been up to:

The hum of a longarm quilting machine is now a regular part of our domestic environment. The Lord is greatly blessing us in this new business, which launched last year. We are excited to anticipate what He will do with this business.

May the Lord bless you and your family this Spring.
A bit of time has passed since I posted last and I thank you all for coming back to see what we are up to. Our family is very busy starting a new business. As some of you know, in December of 2010, we opened up an Etsy shop called Farmhouse Quilts. This little shop that we thought would bring in a little extra money has now blossomed into a viable business for our whole family. Our prayer for the last 6 years was for a home business that our family could work on together and ultimately bring my husband homefrom the corporate world. God has blessed each family member with gifts and talents that contribute to our new endeavor and we covet your prayers as we seek His will for this business. We pray that He will glorified in all that we do. In the last few months, Farmhouse Quilts turned into Cotton Berry Quilts. In addition to the Quilts, we opened our fabric shop, Cotton Berry Fabrics. On top of all that, we now offer Long-arm quilting services as well. All this to say, Country Hearts blog will not close down, but this will be the last post. Our new blog is up and running and we invite you to join us there. We hope you will visit Cotton Berry Quilts, the blog and be encouraged.
Today was a beautiful day here in Tennessee so, my sister and I decided to photograph one of our new dresses for our shop. After having a tornado sweep over our backyard Thursday night, it was a breath of fresh air to have a bright sunny day.
