Our Garden is Growing!

This is our first year gardening in Middle Tennessee and It looks like we have some veggies growing. The tomatoes, corn, cucumber, Amish melon, crookneck squash, pumpkins and watermelon all seem to be doing well so far. We just had a lot of rain with spurts of sunshine in between which is much loved by our garden.
On the other hand, I think we lost our potatoes, and green beans. This was discouraging since I planned on canning the green beans with a pressure canner for the first time. The potatoes were going to be in storage in the winter but now I'm hoping to get enough to plant next year. I think the green beans were planted too close together so they were robbing each other of nutrients. Who knows what happened to the potatoes.
Twice the corn was blown over by torrential rains and wind and twice my son Luke propped them back up. They seem to be doing well even though they were replanted.

I planted 18 tomato plants hoping to can plenty of tomato sauce to last the whole year. All the plants are strong and healthy and bearing lots of fruit.
II picked our first crookneck squash last week and was looking forward to harvesting more this last weekend. However, within one day, we had mold on our fruit. I removed the bad fruit and I hope we don't have any more problems. Could it be the high humidity? Any suggestions would be helpful.
