I am going to write an article on the art of sewing and its importance as one of our homemaking skills. I loved all your comments and would like to include them in my post. Here is where you come in. I know this may be a lot to ask but I'm going to ask anyway. Please do not feel obligated to participate, I will completely understand.
I could use pictures of one or more of the following:
1. One of your own completed sewing projects.
2. A gift you received sewn by a friend or family member that is meaningful to you.
3. A family heirloom which has been sewn or quilted.
4. A vintage sewing machine that you own. Be sure to tell the story behind that machine.
5. A sewing project that your daughter has made.
You can send your pictures as an attachment to:
countryheartsathome@gmail.com
If you have a blog, I will have a link to your site next to your quote or picture. If you prefer not to have your quote included, please let me know that as well.
Thank you all so much
~ Christa ~
Please send your pictures in or let me know a picture is coming by November 6th.

Hi Christa ~ I will plan on participating...do you have a deadline for the submissions you asked for? Such a nice idea...thank you!
Thanks for asking about a deadline. I will add the deadline to the post. I'm thinking a November 6th deadline. Even if you all cannot get your pictures in by then, at least let me know you are sending one. How's that?

Lots of my sewing projects are on my Sewing Room blog,(you are more than welcome to use any photo there) but I have a couple other things that I could send pictures of also!
Thank You, Christa! What an interesting post this will be. I can't wait to see what others have sewn or has great meaning for them! And this may spark ideas for Christmas presents, also!
