A Glorious Day

All Three of my children were baptized last Sunday. It was indeed a glorious day to hear them proclaim Christ as their Lord and Savior and desire to be baptized.
Our friends' farm was the perfect setting with a beautiful creek/swimming hole and 55 degree weather! Yes, you read it correctly, 55 degrees. It was very chilly, but that didn't stop my kids and three others from wanting to be baptized.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:19-20

Amen!

Dear Christa ~

How incredibly wonderful! You must be so thankful to the Lord for bringing them to this point in their walks with Him! What a blessing to watch our children follow the Lord in obedience!!

What a wonderful day that must have been for you and your family! And it's really neat that your kids wanted to be baptised together. Well, I don't know you, but I find your blog very encouraging! It's so great to read about other sisters who want to honor God in their homes and in their families. God bless you!

What a very special day, indeed! And having Dad do the baptizing makes it ever so much more special!
Gentleman Farmer helped baptize our girls, too.
And I love that they were baptized outside in 'real' water.
(I wonder why this post didn't show up on my reader?)
About the 'punkins'~no pattern, I just cut some football shapes. Can't wait to see your punkins!
Rich Blessings on your precious family today!

A Glorious Day indeed!!! Thank you for sharing the pictures. As your sister in Christ I'm feeling like a very proud and thankful aunt! Wish we could have been there but I am afraid I would have been a weepy mess ~grin~

Rejoicing in the Lord with you my friend.
