A Kitty Cat, Cardinal and a Little More Snow!

Welcome Friends!

The Lord blessed us with a little more snow
last night.  It was so beautiful and something
we just did not experience while living in
California.  So a few flakes here and there and
were are like little kids at an amusement park for
the first time.

Something I do not see much of here in Tennessee
are decorative flags.  I bought this one a couple years ago
and haven't put it up until now.

I just love it.

I also love red cardinals, something
I never saw in California.
I'm not very good at photographing
live ones, so here is one that would not
fly away when I came close enough to take
a picture.

We cannot own any cats because of allergies
so this is the next best thing to having
one of these furry guys around.

However, I don't think he would make
a good mouser, a necessity here in the
country.

What is the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Have a wonderful weekend my friends
and be sure to stay warm and cozy,

Christa

Oh, your snow is so pretty. We are just getting some rain and really cold weather. Love the flag...I can't do kitties either because of allergies...but I have my trusty dog! Hope you all enjoy the beautiful weather the Lord has given you.

Blessings,
Jackie

We must live close because our weather is the same. I, too, love the cardinal. God made that color so vivid that they stand out so beautifully during the winter. I agree, they are hard to photograph. We have one that sits faithfully in a tree outside my bedroom window but I can't get a picture of him. Maybe I should just clean my windows and try that.

Hi, Christa~
Your snow is so pretty. All we got last night was rain. It was just too warm for it to snow.
Your flag is adorable! It reminds me of our big, lovable, black and white cat named Oreo.
Have a nice weekend. :)

Love your flag! Of course you know that we have snow and cold cold cold, lol, so your weather is looking pretty good to me! :) We keep bird feeders full all year long and enjoy a variety of feathered visitors. I could spend a lot of time watching them. We had two cardinals at the feeder this morning. Everyone is extra hungry when with subzero temps.

What a fun post Christa! It's lovely to *see* you here!! :)

Hmmm...we always have a *mix* and for the past couple of days it has been raining. Nothing white here at the moment.

Your snow is beautiful.
Your flag is very cute.

Many blessings to you my friend!

This looks gorgeous! Both the snow and your blog! I am glad you cannot have a _ _ _. (I have a phobia - certain mousing animal, so I couldn't follow you if you had photos of the aforementioned animal.... ! Strange, but true) x
