A Visit From My Friends

The Wilhite Family

My dear friend Tracy came for a visit. She traveled all the way from her home in California to ours in Tennessee to pay us a sweet memorable visit. Her three children, Chelsy, Austin and Garrett, joined her as they journeyed almost 2000 miles. Times of delightful conversation over tea, our boys almost burning down the forest on our property, Austin Spraining his ankle at a Friend's farm and our daughters creating delicious meals in the kitchen are a few of the many things we enjoyed last week. Maybe burning down the forest and spraining an ankle do not seem fun at those moments, however, we all laugh about it now.

Greetings from California!

Don't forget the burning ember in the eye and the infected tick bite! lol :) We had a great time with all of you and loved meeting the saints in Tennessee! Please send our fondest regards to those friends and church members who we met and may the Lord continue to bless you all.

I have the picture of the Bradford Pears in bloom on my desktop now and I will not soon forget my young friend Lauren's comment - "Don't you just LOVE the forscythia?" Yes, Lauren, God does good work, doesn't He?

May we all have eyes to see and faith like that of a child to trust Him and see His glory in creation.

In His grace with you~
Tracy
