I went out to my garden this morning to check on our watermelon. I picked one and cut it open, hoping it would be ready inside. It was ready all right. The first cut with my knife and the melon split open as if it couldn't wait to show off its juicy red fruit. It was oooooh, so delicious. I think we will have it for lunch today during our busy canning activities
