For every house is built by someone,

but the builder of all things is God.

My husband and son, together with other men from our church, had a chain saw party this weekend.  They worked at our friend's homestead cutting up trees that had been cut down a few weeks ago.

One of the gentlemen at our church carves wood using a chain saw.
This is the beginning of a heart shaped chair.

I know it's kind of hard to see, but if you look hard enough (click on the picture above) you can see the chain saw starting to cut the heart shape back.  For some reason, a picture of the finished chair was not taken.

I'm so thankful for these father-son gatherings.  These are great times for them to bond with each other and with the men from our church.

I agree...Father and Son times are so special! My husband and I were just talking about that...only my husband has three boys to keep him occupied. I am so thankful that he WANTS to be involved to the level that he is! You are blessed to have such a father for your young man!

Have a wonderful week!
Love,
Camille

We do the same in our church. The men get together to help supply wood for the winter for the folks that just can not do it anymore.

What a great time of bonding and fellowship with everyone.

blessings,
